MoviesNova offers two service tiers: Performance and Premium Plus. Choose the tier from the features you need and the trial experience on your equipment, then decide how long to subscribe and how many simultaneous connections to buy. The longest plan or highest tier is not automatically the right choice for every household.
This comparison reflects the MoviesNova plan descriptions reviewed on September 20, 2026, plus the team's confirmed description of managed routing for Premium Plus. For current prices, currency and the amount due, use the live plan selector.
The Main Differences to Consider
Support
Both tiers list high-quality support. Premium Plus additionally lists high-priority assistance and support including weekends. Priority is a listed service feature, not a guaranteed response-time commitment. Ask about current availability if you need help at a particular time.
Playlist Customisation and Requests
Performance lists playlist customisation, with examples such as English-only or sports-only arrangements. Premium Plus lists full playlist customisation and the ability to request channels, movies or series. A request is not a guarantee that the requested content will be added or available by a particular date.
Player Access
Performance lists access to the Movies Nova app for Firestick, Nvidia Shield and Android Box. Premium Plus lists access to the Movies Nova Premium Plus app. Confirm compatibility with your exact device and any separate player requirements before choosing. Our app versus provider guide explains why a player and a service subscription are different things.
Account Personalisation
Premium Plus also lists the option to choose your own username. That may be convenient, but it should not outweigh whether the service works well on your TV and fits your viewing needs.
Premium Plus Managed Streaming Routing
Premium Plus includes streaming routing managed by our team, giving us more control over how streams are delivered and allowing us to adjust routing when connection issues arise. Playback still depends on your internet connection, device, and service availability.
Routing describes the path taken by streaming data. Managing that path can be relevant when a delivery problem needs investigation; it does not repair every weak Wi-Fi signal, unsupported app or source-side interruption. We do not describe this as guaranteed uptime, automatic failover or a particular network vendor's infrastructure.
This is a confirmed Premium Plus capability, not a technical claim about routing being absent from Performance. If routing is important to your decision, explain the problem you are experiencing and ask the team what can be evaluated during a trial. The buffering guide helps you collect useful evidence.
Compare Content You Actually Watch
The plan descriptions list different catalogue and quality options, but a headline total cannot establish whether your must-have programme is currently available. Ask about the specific content and language options you need, then test them when available. A resolution label also does not guarantee that every programme is delivered at that resolution or that every device can display it.
For live viewing, check motion, audio sync, navigation and stability during a normal session. Our sports testing guide covers practical observations without treating one good stream as an uptime guarantee.
Connections and Duration Are Separate Choices
The current selector offers one to five connections. In the listed pricing model, each additional Performance connection receives a 10% reduction from the base price, while each additional Premium Plus connection receives a 15% reduction. The first connection remains at the selected plan's base price. Compare the complete displayed totals because the tiers have different base prices.
Use the multiple-device guide to count simultaneous viewers. For the term length, the monthly versus annual guide explains upfront cost and commitment. A yearly price divided by twelve is a monthly equivalent, not necessarily a monthly payment schedule.
Which Tier Should You Test?
- Consider Performance if its listed player access, support and customisation match your needs and the trial meets your playback expectations.
- Consider Premium Plus if managed routing, priority assistance, expanded customisation or request options matter to you, and the price fits your budget.
- Ask before paying if device compatibility, content availability, connection limits or a trial result is unclear.
Confirm which tier the trial represents. Do not assume that testing one tier validates the other, or that the trial includes every connection you intend to purchase. Use our trial scorecard to record the result.
Does Premium Plus guarantee no buffering?
No. Managed routing is one part of service delivery. Your home connection, player, device and service availability remain relevant.
Does the higher-tier plan include unlimited devices?
No unlimited simultaneous-stream promise is made here. Choose and confirm the required connection count separately.
Can I change tiers later?
Ask the team about the current process, any price adjustment and remaining subscription time before purchasing. Do not assume a free upgrade, transfer or refund.
Review the premium IPTV offering, then request a trial and name the tier you want to evaluate. Buy the plan that has demonstrated value for your household.
